#2 Orange Cassidy as the Lazy Vigilante
Orange Cassidy is akin to a Rorschach test in the wrestling world. His gimmick of lazily throwing kicks at people and no-selling has infuriated some in the professional wrestling industry. But others seem to get his act and love every minute he's in the ring. It was surprising that he was even signed by AEW.
On the flip side, AEW gave a glimpse of how they could use Orange Cassidy in the future. He appeared in the ring when the lights came in and proceeded to throw himself at the minions of the Dark Order in to save Trent Baretta from being taken away. The audience popped huge for this segment.
The match itself didn't get rave reviews and was just considered just "ok" by others. But the Orange Cassidy bit at the end certainly saved the match and enhanced it to greater heights. The Best Friends even hugged him at the end while he remained emotionless and not acknowledging their gesture.
It's apparent that this odd couple (trio?) pairing will be great for television. AEW will have to use Orange Cassidy in small "slices" so as to not bore the audience. He's a special attraction and AEW may have a plan for this "freshly squeezed" wrestler.
