Elias can't drift any more.

Elias can be a top guy, and there is many of you out there that would love to oppose that opinion, but just consider this for a moment, which another superstar on the roster is hot enough to incite a ferocious response from the crowd when they stand in the ring?

The simple answer is not many, as Elias is a special breed, a type of superstar we have seen an abundance of in the two previous era's of WWE, but in an age where things are so cut and dry, Elias feels special.

And now we learned on Raw this week that at Wrestlemania this year, Elias will perform one of his greatest hits, while that is an excellent addition to a stacked Wrstelkmnia card, WWE is wasting one of their breakout stars for the second year in a row.

Elias is somewhat of the same boat as Bruan Strowman as both these men are great wrestlers that are utilised poorly, but in Elias' case, he can break out at any second given the nature of his character.

Now Elias ending Angle's career is something most would reject, but if WWE is putting an up and coming heel against a former hero, Elias should be in Corbin's spot anyway.
