#4. Not sending certain champions directly to specific brands

Why did the RAW Women's Champion need to be drafted to RAW?
Why did the RAW Women's Champion need to be drafted to RAW?

Let's start by saying that we love the fact that Becky Lynch was the overall #1 draft pick. She deserves that spot after all the years of hard work she put in and she has risen to become one of WWE's biggest superstars - male or female.

However, there's one part that we don't quite understand. Is there a necessity to draft RAW and SmackDown champions instead of directly assigning them? For example, the RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch needn't have gotten a draft spot because she holds a title that belongs to the RAW brand.

The same happened with Bayely and The Revival and WWE just narrowly avoided that with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who dropped the titles to The Viking Raiders (RAW) before being drafted over to SmackDown.

It just seems to be one of those slight hiccups in logic but it's nothing that had an overtly-negative effect on the show. It only comes across as a tad bit inconsistent.
