We've been waiting so long to see this now, that it almost just feels like Vince is tempted to book it on any given episode of SmackDown Live. While that almost certainly won't happen (we hope) it doesn't feel like we're all too far away from it and maybe, just maybe, the long-awaited Miz vs Daniel Bryan match will happen next month at SummerSlam.

Some people want to see it being stretched out all the way through until WrestleMania 35, and while we wouldn't mind seeing that play out, Bryan himself has even indicated that he doesn't really trust WWE to tell a story like that over such a long period of time. Still, we can hope.
