On July 23, 2018, episode of RAW, Stephanie McMahon made one of the biggest announcements in history pertaining to the female roster of the company. The first-ever all-women pay-per-view called Evolution was announced during that night, and Hall of Famers Trish Stratus, Lita, and Beth Phoenix were all advertised to take part in the event.

The event ended up being a huge success and gave us some top matches such as the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament final match between Toni Storm and Io Shirai, and the Last Woman Standing Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

The main event of the night saw Ronda Rousey defend the RAW Women's Championship against Nikki Bella in a high-profile clash.

Now that it’s been a year since the event, there has been a lot the company and its female talent has achieved. This has been a good reflection of the benefits that Evolution brought for the women’s division.

In this article, we will look at the 5 biggest achievements by the female Superstars of WWE since the pay-per-view.

Throughout the past two years there has been no woman who has been as dominant as Shayna Baszler in WWE. She has managed to take over Asuka’s crazy undefeated streak and made it into something completely different on the Black and Gold Brand and made fans realize that a figure like Brock Lesnar can also exist on the female roster.

At WWE Evolution, Baszler was up against Kairi Sane for the NXT Women’s Championship. Sane had recently defeated the dominant Baszler for the Championship and was looking to extend her reign over NXT.

However, Baszler was helped by the distractions caused by Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, who were at ringside. This led to Baszler applying the "Kirifuda Clutch" on Sane who passed out and The Queen Of Spades was awarded the match and the NXT Women’s Championship by technical submission.

This allowed Baszler to become the first two-time NXT Women's Champion. Since her victory, Baszler remains the only female in WWE today who has not lost a single televised match. This has allowed her to become the longest-reigning Champion in the company since WWE Evolution, and the most dominant figure on all three rosters.
