Sheamus has been on a roll with his in-ring efforts lately, and he stepped into the squared circle against Riddle at WWE WrestleMania 37. Judging by the crowd reaction, the fans were firmly behind Riddle during the WWE United States Championship match.

A couple of botches aside, both stars put on a hard-hitting affair which ended exhilaratingly when Sheamus delivered a mid-air Brogue Kick to Riddle. Riddle bled from the mouth after this finish, as Sheamus executed a successful pin attempt to become the new WWE United States Champion.

Meanwhile, Big E and Apollo Crews had their Nigerian Drum Fight over the Intercontinental Championship. The two engaged in a short and brutal contest, where the Nigerian Drum Fight stipulation seemed similar to a No Holds Barred match. The inclusion of percussion instruments in the ringside area added to the overall theme of Crews and Big E's intense fight.

While fans would have loved to see this match go longer, the actual finish set up former RAW Underground star Dabba-Kato's return.

Kato's interference helped Apollo Crews to become the new Intercontinental Champion. It's safe to say this result wouldn't have been possible if not for Crews' character transformation. Meanwhile, Big E had a meaningful title run, even though Dabba-Kato's inclusion suggests that this rivalry isn't over yet.
