#3 Is that all that the WWE SmackDown Elimination Chamber match winner will get?
WWE hosted two big Elimination Chamber matches on Sunday. While the winner of the RAW Elimination Chamber match came out with the WWE Championship in his hand, the SmackDown Elimination Chamber winner simply got a shot at the Universal Championship.
Daniel Bryan defeated the other SmackDown Superstars to win the Elimination Chamber match and immediately went to war against Roman Reigns. Even though Bryan showed a lot of heart, he was unable to dethrone the Universal Champion, who came into the match completely fresh.
After the match was over, Edge appeared to Spear Reigns out of his boots and make their match for WrestleMania 37 official. While this was a big moment for Edge and Reigns, one has to feel bad for Bryan.
Is that all that the Elimination Chamber winner will get after such a big battle? Will Bryan be out of the Universal Championship picture immediately, so that the Rated-R Superstar can build himself before WrestleMania?
That seems to be the case here, and that is possibly why Bryan won the Chamber match instead of Cesaro or Kevin Owens. WWE possibly wanted to give Bryan a big moment and a chance without stretching the story, as Bryan may not be interested in a long title reign. However, it doesn’t make much sense that the top man from SmackDown who won the Chamber match will be out of the equation after just one match.
