On Sunday, fans waited anxiously to see John Cena and The Undertaker make an appearance and make WrestleMania 35 even better for them. Most expected Cena or Undertaker to even replace Baron Corbin in his match against Kurt Angle.
While Cena did make an appearance, he did so in the most unlikely way by bringing back the Doctor of Thugamonics gimmick and surprising fans when he interrupted Elias during his performance.
However, fans weren’t lucky enough to have the lights go out and the gong to sound on Sunday night. Instead, they were even more surprised when that happened on Monday Night instead.
Elias was once again interrupted on Raw, this time by The Deadman, who returned to make a statement by laying out Elias and leaving without saying a word. This laid to rest to all the rumors circulating The Undertaker’s future and gave birth to new ones.
