5 Biggest Things we could see on TLC this week - Unexpected alliance?

Will Seth Rollins be on TLC?
Will Seth Rollins be on TLC?

2019's last WWE pay-per-view, TLC, will take place on 15th December, which will also mark the beginning of the Royal Rumble period, which is generally one of the most exciting times of the WWE calendar year.

As expected, TLC is not featuring every WWE Champion as the likes of Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, and Bray Wyatt will not be defending their prestigious titles on the show.

But that for no reason should prevent one from watching the PPV due to the recent events that have been taking place on WWE's weekly episodes of RAW and SmackDown.

On RAW, Seth Rollins aligning with the AoP, along with the former's heel turn has gripped the WWE Universe, while Daniel Bryan's disappearance on the Blue brand has lead to The Miz being involved in a tussle with the Universal Champion Bray Wyatt.

These are only a few aspects that we expect to see on TLC this week, among other things. Hence, without further ado, here are the five Biggest Things WWE could be planning for this week's PPV:

#5 The OC answer The Viking Raiders' open challenge

The very reason why The Viking Raiders are giving an open challenge on TLC is that WWE hasn't developed any new feuds for the RAW Tag Team Champions. It's definitely a smart move in order to keep The Viking Raiders relevant as we move towards the new year.

The OC (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) are the most logical choice for accepting that open challenge. It's because the two other tag teams on RAW, who can show up to answer the challenge are - The AoP and the Street Profits. Now, we saw the latter lose to The Viking Raiders this Monday, so that definitely rules them out.

As for The AoP, they are already neck-deep into the Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens storyline. Hence, The OC seems to be the only choice, as far as challenging for the RAW Tag Team Championship at TLC is concerned.

#4 Baron Corbin loses to Roman Reigns clean, despite help from Dolph Ziggler

Ok, so not everyone in the WWE Universe has so far loved this feud between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin, which has seemingly dragged on forever. Hopefully, we would see the end of it this week at TLC, so that the Superstars can move on to bigger and better things.

There's no way Roman Reigns is losing to Baron Corbin on Sunday; it can happen if Vince McMahon wants this feud to be prolonged but if it is to end at TLC, The Big Dog is winning fair and square against The King.

To further showcase his superman abilities, Roman could very well handle both Dolph and Corbin on his way towards another huge PPV win.

#3 The Kabuki Warriors retain their Tag Team Titles; Asuka destroys Becky Lynch

Why is RAW's Women's Champion Becky Lynch teaming up with Charlotte Flair to face The Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Championship? That's the question most fans keep asking themselves, yet have no answer to.

One possible reason could be to build towards Becky Lynch vs Asuka for the RAW Women's Championship at Royal Rumble. Asuka has never been beaten or pinned by Lynch in her illustrious career and that has to be the angle WWE is trying to explore here.

Hence, there's a huge chance that The Kabuki Warriors retain their Tag Team Titles on Sunday by defeating The Queen and The Man as clean as it gets. Furthermore, The Empress of Tomorrow could be the woman, who quite possibly beats the daylights out of Lynch, to set up a possible feud between them for the future.

#2 The Revival become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions

The Revival is arguably one of the very best tag teams in the wrestling business right now and them facing The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship makes all the more sense if the former RAW Tag Team Champions defeated The New Day on Sunday.

This is because making The Revival lose to The New Day again will only dampen the former tag team's chances of a 'revival'. Also, if The Revival become the new tag champs, the likes of Heavy Machinery and Mustafa Ali & Shorty G can then come into the mix due to the face vs heel factor.

Expect the two Blue brand tag teams to tear it up on Sunday.

#1 The Miz defeats Bray Wyatt, with help from Daniel Bryan

Bray Wyatt, from the Firefly Fun House, and not The Fiend will go up against The Miz at TLC and The Universal Championship is not on the line. Now, there are so many potential directions WWE could take with this match.

One possibility is for Bray Wyatt to lose against The Miz, with a little assistance from Daniel Bryan, who could show up at TLC to everyone's surprise. Everyone knows WWE is protecting The Fiend but Wyatt from the Firefly Fun House losing doesn't really do any damage to The Fiend's persona, does it?

Also, after losing this match, a depleted Wyatt could then turn to The Fiend to take his revenge, thus telling the difference between Wyatt and The Fiend. Also, it would be interesting to see how The Fiend measures up against not one but two Superstars if Bryan and The A-Lister are to join hands.
