5 Biggest things WWE secretly told us on Monday Night Raw

It's time for the Architect
It's time for the Architect

In what was possibly an incredible fallout to the Royal Rumble, WWE brought their best foot forward to keep the emphasis on WrestleMania 35 with an incredible episode of Monday Night Raw.

The creative team was successful in advancing storylines for the Grandest Stage of Them All and propelled characters that desperately need the spotlight to shine.

With Elimination Chamber being the next roadblock in line, the company teased a lot of matches that could transpire in Texas, with Nia Jax and Tamina and The Riott Squad earning their way in the Elimination Chamber match for the Women's Tag-Team Championships.

Considering that WWE has brought significant spotlight on Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, both the competitors left no stone unturned in making the most of their opportunities tonight on Monday Night Raw.

While Becky has already cleared her intentions for WrestleMania 35, the Architect's chilling encounter with the Beast Incarnate will only fuel the narrative for weeks to come.

Regardless of what transpired, there are still a lot of things that the company tried to tell vicariously through some of their segments and matches. What were they? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 biggest things WWE secretly told us on Monday Night Raw.

#1 Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle to look strong against Braun Strowman

Absolutely disappointing, this one.
Absolutely disappointing, this one.

As much as I admire the creative team for pushing young talent and telling some compelling stories, Kurt Angle's credibility on the main roster has left most of the fans baffled.

While the Olympic Gold Medalist may not be a threat in any sort today, but he is still one of the greatest technical wrestlers who ever graced the squared circle.

Considering that Baron Corbin has not developed as a main roster villain, giving him the victory over Angle was only a sign for things to come later in the night when the Lone Wolf interfered and led an attack on the Monster Among Men with some quick help from Drew McIntyre.

Since this could be a potential storyline for WrestleMania 35, ascending Corbin at the expense of Kurt Angle felt like a huge disappointment as far as the latter's credibility is concerned.

#2 The Extraordinary Man will be your Intercontinental Champion

Is he in for a big push?
Is he in for a big push?

After going to war with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, a hopeful Finn Balor returned to Monday Night Raw and addressed his intentions of being motivated for the future.

Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush quickly interfered and questioned Balor's integrity to stand up to someone like the Beast Incarnate and while it only coerced the former NXT Champion to react back, the All Mighty took no time in getting his hands on Balor.

Since this could be the start of a new program for the first-ever Universal Champion, not going on to win the Intercontinental Championship would feel like an absolute disgrace.

Considering that he has been brought in the spotlight to keep him away from All Elite Wrestling, this could be an ideal time for the former NXT Champion to grab the brass ring and outshine Bobby Lashley to win the gold.

#3 Nia Jax could be in line for an inter-gender Match at WrestleMania

Dean Vs. Nia Jax anybody?
Dean Vs. Nia Jax anybody?

In what was possibly one of the most surprising moments of the Royal Rumble, Nia Jax made history by being the first wrestler to enter both the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble match.

Despite the fact that the gigantic force has not been utilized to her full potential, she could be in line for a massive push en route to the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Her confrontations with Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Dean Ambrose could be a sign of things to come where Vince McMahon officially pushes the envelope for an inter-gender match at MetLife Stadium.

While in a political nature, matches of such sort do gravitate criticism from all generations, the company is certainly keeping things refreshing on the red brand.

Since it was the Lunatic Fringe who felt the rage of Nia Jax tonight, could we finally see someone step up to the Irresistible Force and lock horns with her at WrestleMania?

#4 Becky Lynch will be the face of Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania

The New Stone Cold?
The New Stone Cold?

Widely regarded as the Stone Cold of the New Era of professional wrestling, Becky Lynch finally made her presence known on Monday Night Raw as she went straight to the Rowdy One.

Ronda Rousey's win over Bayley fueled the confidence in the Raw Women's Champion as she went on to attack the former SmackDown Women's Champion and mocked her path to the Grandest Stage of Them All.

There's no denying that this will probably be one of the biggest highlights of 2019, and judging by the way Becky Lynch has been pushed, she is certainly taking the torch from Ronda in order to run Monday Night Raw.

While Charlotte's inclusion in the feud feels questionable after tonight, but Becky's path to WrestleMania 35 could see her eventually be the face of Monday Night Raw under the experiential supervision of Vince McMahon.

#5 Seth Rollins will turn into a ruthless animal to slay the Beast Incarnate

Are we ready for this one?
Are we ready for this one?

Despite the fact that WWE teased Seth Rollins to make his decision by choosing to face either the Universal Champion or the WWE Champion, the Architect wasted no time and went straight ahead to the Beast Incarnate.

Considering that many fans were expecting 'The New' Daniel Bryan to make his presence known to the WWE Universe, the Mayor of Suplex City took charge and absolutely mauled the Architect.

While Vince McMahon would still perceive the idea of telling an underdog tale with this feud, this certainly seems a more different take than any others.

Triple H has already played a pivotal role in ascending Rollins to the top of the mountain, and with the Architect failing to bring the fight to the Universal Champion, the Game could push Rollins to bring the soulless animal inside him.

This is what could change the entire scenario surrounding the feud, where Rollins wouldn't have to be as interactive with the WWE Universe and would concentrate more on bringing out the rage that instills deep inside him.
