Considering that the WWE has brought a significant spotlight on Finn Balor, this could probably be the first time in a while that the fans are excited about a Universal Championship match.

Moreover, Vince McMahon's inclusion in this main event feud has made things more entertaining and interesting for the first-ever Universal Champion in Finn Balor. Some light was also thrown on Bobby Lashley's opponent tonight, Apollo Crews who could be in for a significant push on Monday Night Raw.

While The Revival certainly caught the attention of the Chairman, it was Sasha Banks' epic performance that gave her the much-needed momentum heading into her Royal Rumble brawl with the Rowdy One, Ronda Rousey.

Regardless of what transpired, there are still a lot of things that the company tried to tell us vicariously through some of their segments and matches. What were they? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 biggest things WWE secretly told us on Monday Night Raw.

#5 David will fall only to reignite the Demon within him

Will the real Finn Balor please stand up?
Will the real Finn Balor please stand up?

Despite the fact that I'm genuinely excited to see what Vince McMahon could be planning for Finn Balor ahead, his bout with Brock Lesnar could be a thing of beauty.

There's no denying that the Universal Champion has delivered some of the best matches with A.J. Styles, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk, which only puts into perspective how this is going to pan out.

Considering that the company did give us a preview of what could transpire when Finn Balor gets in the ring with a Giant, the Chairman was successful in gravitating the attention of the fans towards Balor and his physical limitations.

While the fans want to see the former NXT Champion enter Chase Field as the Demon King, the company will certainly protect his demonic identity and present him as a man possessed, a man who possesses all the credentials to try hand and eventually fall down.

This could be something special for Balor, considering how underutilized he has been. Presenting him as David was the right way to put a legitimate focus on his abilities whilst keeping his demonic presence somewhere behind.

#2 Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder could be on the verge of a 'Revival'

Are we ready for this?
Are we ready for this?

After all that is doing the rounds on social media about several WWE superstars asking for their release, the company is certainly bringing some creativity in the tag-team division.

Despite the fact that I'm genuinely disappointed with the Revival failing to grab the gold, Zack Ryder's intervention to save Curt Hawkins from the duo has certainly added depth on the roster.

There's no denying that there's a lack of concentration being put to bring the best out of the tag-team division, with Vince McMahon keeping more time for the main event brawls.

However, tonight's actions signified that the creative team might be looking to shuffle this up and bring something refreshing. Considering that Zack Ryder has now returned to the squared circle again, could he join forces with Curt Hawkins and revive them against the Revival?

#3 Seth Rollins and Drew Mcintyre will be the final two standing at Chase Field

What a moment this will be
What a moment this will be

Let's set the record straight - Seth Rollins and Drew Mcintyre are two of the most engaging superstars on Monday Night Raw and shall continue to dominate action for the rest of 2019.

With Vince McMahon putting most of his focus on building the Scottish Terminator, the Architect has tussled his way to the top of the food chain in an organic rise. Since the fans are loving these two hungry competitors who are trying to write their destiny at the Royal Rumble, there's no way these two won't be the final two standing.

While WrestleMania 35 could see Brock Lesnar enter MetLife Stadium as the Universal Champion, there's a possibility that it will be the Kingslayer who wins the Royal Rumble.

However, after John Cena's reported ankle injury, the plans could change and the company could be planning a shocking finish where both Rollins and Mcintyre are strongly protected.

Despite the fact that the former WWE Champion got the best out of the former NXT Champion, Mcintyre could be looking to seek redemption at the Royal Rumble come January 27.

#4 Sasha Banks' motivation could coerce her to snap just like Charlotte

Is the Boss a threat to the Raw Women's Champion?
Is the Boss a threat to the Raw Women's Champion?

Judging by how things have transpired between Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks, there's a genuine possibility that the Boss turns heel at the Royal Rumble. Considering that the two have been tussling out over their recognition in the women's division, throwing out the Four Horsewomen moniker could be a sign of things to come.

While the former Raw Women's Champion got the better off Ronda Rousey and Natalya by tapping the latter out to seal the victory, Banks' still looks determined to prove her mettle to the Rowdy One.

There's no denying that the two genuinely have respect for each other, but the company could be planning a similar angle where the Boss snaps just like Charlotte did at Survivor Series and walks out of Chase Field getting the loudest ovation possible.

Monday Night Raw has been struggling with the female competitors failing to be presented properly, but with Banks taking matters into her own hands, this could run riot at Chase Field.

#5 Braun Strowman's loss at the Royal Rumble could have dismantled his career

Is the Monster Among Men that strong now?
Is the Monster Among Men that strong now?

In what was Vince McMahon's biggest projects in 2017, Braun Strowman has been struggling to make an impression on Monday Night Raw ever since he turned heel in 2018.

His feud with Roman Reigns brought no momentum to the Monster Among Men and his subsequent loss to Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel only made things worse for the former Raw Tag-Team Champion.

While many predicted that Strowman could still be injured which coerced the company to rule him out of the Universal title picture, there's more to the story than meets the eye.

Considering that he was perfectly fine while tossing Vince McMahon's limo and moreover, looked absolutely fine while working with Finn Balor tonight and the company vicariously brought attention to the fact that making Strowman fall to Brock again would have been catastrophic for his career.

Since the Monster Among Men has failed to bring any anticipation in his recent performances, there's a genuine reason why Vince McMahon rejected the idea of Strowman fighting for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.
