When Daniel Bryan beat AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and turned heel, it looked like a baffling decision. However, it has turned out to be quite the revelation. Bryan is a fantastic heel and did what he had to do to bring his character back to life.
The new Daniel Bryan is fantastic and this move could turn out to be one of the greatest heel turns in recent WWE history if he continues to do stellar work on the microphone. This past Smackdown, he even got into somewhat of an agreement with The Miz, his longtime rival. It is surreal to see the pair of them agreeing with each other, but not as surreal as another option.
With the 'Best in the World' storyline alongside Shane McMahon, it seems like WWE is readying The Miz for a face turn. Smackdown desperately needs babyfaces in their ranks and the Awesome One could be the guy to turn. Call it crazy, but heel Bryan vs face Miz is an exceptionally intriguing scenario and one that would be fitting for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
Maybe, this modification could provide this eternal rivalry with the perfect and fiery conclusion it deserves, after a disappointing summer and early autumn. Do not rule it out.
