5 bookings from the RAW roster the world is waiting for

There is a lot of potential to be tapped

Ever since the brand split, we have seen many unique match setups by the RAW team. Some of them have turned out to be amazing while others fairly lacklustre, for the lack of a better term. It is the responsibility of the company to fill the gaps and reach out to the untapped areas and plan bookings that continue to impress the WWE universe.

In every possibility, RAW could produce some of the best matches owing to the enormous talent availability on its roster. In fact, there are many dream bookings that the world is waiting for.

As part of this slideshow, let us have a look at 5 bookings from the RAW roster that could take the WWE universe by surprise and the bookings that would keep them eagerly awaiting for the matches!

#5 Rusev vs. Brock Lesnar: Last man standing match

From Moscow to Suplex city

The biggest badass in the company today, Brock Lesnar and the alpha heel Rusev could face off in the future for a singles match.

This would make a lot of sense as that would add to the accolades of Rusev in the future. Brock Lesnar and Rusev looks like a long shot but now that the leadership is inclined towards the future, this could become a reality.

Rusev could provoke the Beast on social media or during RAW and pick up a fight with him. This match should ideally be booked as a last man standing match as we know that Brock can easily seal the deal in a singles match.

It is important for both men to keep the other guy down for a count of 10 which is not very easy with either the Suplex and F-5 combination or the Accolade. This makes the match all the more interesting and the superstars may pull new tricks from their bags to win the bout!

#4 Cesaro/Sheamus vs. Bullet club vs. Enzo/Cass vs. New Day- Fatal-4-way tag match

More than impressive is an understatement

The RAW roster is rich with many talented tag teams and several more are in the pipeline, the team of Cesaro and Sheamus being the latest example. The New Day have been Tag team champions for over 420 days now.

The universe loves them to see them fight any opponent but let’s consider opponents that can throw them a real challenge. There are three such teams that you could come up with- Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Enzo and Cass and Cesaro/Sheamus.

Why not book a Fatal-4-way Tag team championship match among these 4 teams at a PPV? The storyline could be easily built as almost all the teams involved have some chemistry in the past. The crowd would love this as WWE is presenting the best of their talent in the tag team division, all of it as a single package.

#3 Big Cass vs. Braun Strowman

Battle of the big guys

If there is one guy who is booked pathetically since the brand split, it is Braun Strowman. This guy has the charisma but somehow, WWE never gave him any real competition. For weeks together, he faced local wrestlers and squashed them in monstrous fashion.

But there is something very interesting the company could do with this mountain of a man.

This week on RAW, Sami Zayn showed up and enthralled the WWE universe but I believe that the creative team could have done something better. To match size with the monster, there should be a big guy who could take on him. Unfortunately, we don’t have many big guys on the RAW roster who look in good wrestling shape.

However, there is Big Cass who is 7 foot tall and appears just about ready to break into singles competition. Imagine a face-off between these guys!

#2 Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens

Potential bout

Let us have a look at the bookings for the main event. We have two arch-rivals, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on one side and the longest running WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens on the other. The story doesn’t end here. Let us also include the injured Finn Balor into the picture as he is set to return sooner or later.

WWE could utilise the three former NXT Champions and Roman Reigns to set up a Fatal-4-way match for the WWE Universal Championship. This match would blow the roof off the arena because you have a couple of faces and a couple of heels in this match and all of them have a good history with each other in the past.

#1 Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

Above hatred

We are now talking about something at the elite level. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, the arch-rivals and the guys who can’t even stand each other’s shadow could be put into a Universal Championship bout.

It is a known and widely acknowledged fact that Sami Zayn could get a potential Universal Championship reign in the near future. So why not bring it on with style? We have seen the quality of matches these two men can produce and the how much the WWE universe loves these matches.

Why not have a title match once again?
