#3. Matthew McConaughey is a lifetime WWE fan
Matthew McConaughey is another Oscar winner on our list. He has been a lifetime WWE fan but has no problem becoming a competitor.
McConaughey virtually attended Monday Night RAW last October. He cheered on then-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre through his screen when the Scottish Warrior defeated The Miz on the October 27 episode.
In July 2019, the 51-year-old actor was in attendance for an episode of Raw. He went backstage after the show and took a few pictures with the Superstars.
Although he behaved well in these two WWE appearances, it was not the case when he attended a wrestling event in his younger days. He told an interesting story about that day on The Graham Norton Show:
"I got kicked out of Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport for pelting Skandor Akbar with a bag of tomatoes."
Matthew McConaughey's love for pro wrestling and WWE makes him open to trying his luck in the ring. Speaking to Maria Menounos on her "Better Together" podcast, he revealed his interest in fighting in the squared circle:
"You can't say too much about these things, but it is something that interests me."
