#3 Kalisto - WWE United States Champion

Kalisto had two short yet highly entertaining runs with the US Championship

Kalisto recently returned from injury and he and Lucha House Party have been arguing week in and week out ever since. With LHP failing to capture the WWE SmackDown Tag Team titles, Kalisto and Lince Dorado have been butting heads.

Should we see a split in the Lucha House Party, it won't be surprising to see Kalisto branch out on his own. After all, Kalisto is a decorated singles competitor, though neither of his reigns are very memorable. Kalisto won his third main roster title on RAW in 2017, defeating Enzo Amore to become the WWE Cruiserweight Champion before losing the title back to him a few weeks later.

However, Kalisto is also a former two-time WWE United States Champion. Back in 2016, Kalisto was feuding with Alberto Del Rio, the man who ended John Cena's reign with the title after his surprising return to the company. On January 11th, 2016, Kalisto defeated Del Rio to capture the title for the first time.

That reign? It only lasted one day, as Kalisto lost the belt back to Del Rio on SmackDown, which was taped on Tuesdays back then and airing on Thursdays. At that year's Royal Rumble, Kalisto regained the WWE United States Championship.

He went on to defend the title against Neville, Del Rio and Ryback, the latter of whom really put on an incredible series of matches, over the next three months, before losing the title to Rusev in absolutely dominant fashion.

Four years later, could we see Kalisto get back into the mid-card scene?
