In 2009, Kofi Kingston had become one of the most beloved Superstars on the Raw roster. This led to WWE giving him a major push, and he kicked off a feud with Randy Orton, the biggest heel on Monday Night Raw at that time. Kofi Kingston emerged victorious in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match at the PPV of the same name, pinning Orton in the end to score the victory. A botch on a TV match led to Kofi getting his push halted, and he soon went back to being a mid-carder.

Kingston won the WWE title at WrestleMania 35 and has been defeating Superstars one after the other. Recently, Orton pinned him in a 6-man tag team match, and the two are all set to face off against each other in a WWE title match at SummerSlam.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
