#4 Mercedes Martinez (WWE NXT)

A wrestling veteran, Mercedes Martinez entered WWE as a competitor in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament and made it to the semifinals. She had a brief stint on NXT and then entered the second Mae Young Classic tournament as well.

Mercedes Martinez went on to compete for All Elite Wrestling in 2019 before finally signing with WWE in January 2020. She again competed on the NXT brand and also entered the 2020 women's Royal Rumble match. She joined the Robert Stone brand on NXT in July 2020 and turned heel, but the alliance didn't last long.

On an episode of WWE RAW in September 2020, Mercedes Martinez was revealed to be one of the members of the anonymous faction RETRIBUTION, going by the ring name Retaliation. However, after few appearances, she requested to be removed from the faction and returned to NXT.

During an interview with NowThis, Mercedez Martinez revealed that she is openly lesbian. Martinez, however, is married and has a son.

Mercedes Martinez recently challenged NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day in a triple threat match also involving Toni Storm. However, she was not successful to win the title as Io Shirai retained.
