#4 Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio has never turned heel during his WWE career, remaining a beloved hero since he arrived on the scene in 2002. His in-ring magnificence, underdog charm, and variety of masks have ensured a fruitful career as a face for the three-time WWE world champion.

The closest Mysterio has gotten to a heel turn was at the Royal Rumble in 2014, when the fans booed him simply because he wasn't Daniel Bryan. He is incredibly likable in and out of the ring, which furthers the case for him to remain a career babyface in the promotion.

As he is getting close to the end of his career, a heel turn for Mysterio would not make any sense. In fact, he may facilitate one for his son. There might be some value in Dominik Mysterio turning on his father and feuding with him, possibly for the legend's retirement angle.

There is no chance Rey Mysterio will be the one to turn heel if the father-son duo has to split. He will always remain beloved, as he became a household name through the years in WWE.
