#4. A Royal Rumble berth beckons for The Scottish Warrior

Drew McIntyre soared to win the Royal Rumble in 2020, outlasting 29 other superstars. There's no reason he can't do the same in 2022.

The Scottish Warrior will compete in the Royal Rumble Match at the namesake pay-per-view on January 29, 2022. He could look to challenge Brock Lesnar again, if he's still WWE Champion, by winning the event for a second time.

Drew beat The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 36 to win his first WWE Championship. A repeat will be very pleasing for his fans.

#3. Drew McIntyre could look to put his name in the Intercontinental title picture

After losing the WWE Championship to The Miz, who cashed his Money in the Bank contract at Elimination Chamber last year, McIntyre hasn't been able to get his hands on any title.

Despite multiple attempts, gold has eluded the former WWE Champion, and Drew will want to change that in the new year. A title The Scottish Warrior could look to challenge for is the Intercontinental Championship.

While Sami Zayn is the #1 contender for Shinsuke Nakamura's title, a three-way contest involving McIntyre could certainly be an enticing proposition if WWE takes that route.
