Back at Elimination Chamber 2019, the then-Intercontinental Champion, Braun Strowman put his title on the line in a 3-on-1 handicap match against Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cesaro.

The bout ended with Zayn pinning Strowman and becoming the champion. If the same rules are enforced during the Universal title match at Backlash and the 2018 Money in the Bank winner gets pinned by John Morrison, then the Mayor of Slamtown will be crowned the new Universal Champion.

There's a strong possibility that this won't sit well with The Miz, leading to the former WWE Champion turning on his partner once again. For those of you unaware, The Miz first turned on John Morrison back in 2009 during the Draft edition of WWE RAW.

So, even though it looks like the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions are inseparable right now, The Miz is well-aware of how to stay in the spotlight. Supporting his best friend during his reign as the Universal Champion doesn't sound like something The Miz would do.

Do you think that one of the strongest bonds in WWE currently will break tonight at Backlash?
