Despite being in the WWE for over a decade, it is a travesty that the company's biggest Hollywood exports, The Rock and Batista, have never been in a proper singles feud. However, the two did feud over the tag titles when the Rock teamed up with Mick Foley (Rock n Sock Connection) to take on Evolution (Batista and Ric Flair).

Both Batista and The Rock have become huge stars in Hollywood with Batista being the second WWE superstar after The Rock to successfully transition into acting ( John Cena is still an novice in Hollywood).

With rumors of The Rock and Batista returning to the WWE surfacing for quite some time, this might be the WWE's last chance to turn this dream match into a reality. If they fail to do so, this match will surely be in a list of greatest dream matches which never came to fruition.

Both the Rock and Batista are in their fifties, which means that the next run might be their last. The seeds of this match can be planted on Smackdown 100 where the Rock is expected to make an appearance.

While Batista has refuted rumors of him returning for the event, we all know how integral the Aminal has been to the brand's success and therefore we hope that he makes an appearance on this landmark show to set up a future dream match against the Great One.

This Once in a Lifetime (we are pretty sure it won't be twice in a lifetime) match could be booked for WrestleMania 35 next year and seeing two of the greatest of all time collide at the MetLife Stadium next year will be an unforgettable experience.
