Factions in the WWE have always enthralled the fans. Multiple men uniting to fulfill a common cause has always sold but it has been a long time since we saw the formation of a new faction in WWE
The last serious 3-man group the WWE Creative formed was the Club involving AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
However, they could not exist for a long time owing to the brand split which landed them on separate brands.
Also, the Wyatt Family featuring Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman disintegrated because of the brand split of 2016.
Looking at the current roster, the number of factions are very low with the New Day and the Undisputed Era being the top two factions of the company.
WWE needs to form to more factions to build solid upper-mid card rivalries and here are the 3 factions the fans might want to see.
#3 The IIconic Empresses (Asuka, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce)
Asuka has had a dominant start to her SmackDown Live Women's Championship reign as the Empress of Tomorrow defeated Becky Lynch clean at the Royal Rumble PPV in her first title defense.
It seems like the WWE Creative has planned a long title reign for the Japanese superstar. However, Asuka is not that good on mic as English is not her first language.
So, she should be aligned with someone who has good mic skills. There were talks of WWE aligning her with Paul Heyman but instead of it, I think she should turn heel and join with the IIconics.
The IIconics are not someone who can prosper in the women's division but they can play the role of sidekicks to perfection.
Allying with the IIconics will elevate her to the next level as a heel because the WWE Universe boos the Australian female superstars.
WWE should turn Asuka heel because the SmackDown roster has a lot of face female superstars like Naomi, Carmella and Lana.
Also, a heel Asuka can feud with the likes of Natalya, Sasha Banks, Bayley or Ember Moon after the superstar shake-up.
#2 The Bryan Family (Daniel Bryan, Rowan, Harper and Bray Wyatt)
At the Royal Rumble PPV, the new Daniel Bryan got an ally in Rowan when the Bludgeon Brother helped him to retain his WWE Championship.
Also, we saw this pair last week on SmackDown Live and I expect two more members to join this team soon.
Daniel Bryan is in for a lengthy reign with the WWE title. Given that WWE Creative wants him to be the top heel of SmackDown Live, they should make him the leader of a heel faction.
All of them can bore the WWE Universe talking about saving the planet Earth and the man who could best fit in this role of trash talking is Bray Wyatt.
Also, Harper can be made a part of this faction owing to his association with Wyatt and Rowan in the past.
This 4-man faction could dominate on Tuesday nights helping Bryan stay as WWE Champion along with progressing in the tag team division just like the Undisputed Era on NXT.
WWE Creatives do not have a storyline for Bray Wyatt on RAW so, it would be better if he is used on SmackDown as a part of the Bryan family.
#1 A Mexican stable featuring Rey Mysterio, Andrade and Zelina Vega)
The WWE Universe have expressed their desire to see a new Mexican faction in the WWE. Also, the WWE Creatives have been finding superstars to break into the Latin America market soon.
Looking at the Mexican superstars on the roster, we have the Lucha House Party, Andrade, Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio.
The Lucha House Party is likely to stay in the lower mid-card due to absence of top stars in the stable. But, the other 3 Latin American stars can form their own faction on SmackDown Live to change the blue brand's face.
WWE can even form this alliance as soon as this Tuesday as none of the male superstars are a part of the Elimination Chamber match.
This reason could unite them putting their old differences aside. The WWE Creative can have the duo compete in a tag team match with Jeff Hardy and Mustafa Ali (whose characters might not be affected due to a loss) with their positions in the Chamber match on the line.
Mysterio and Andrade would win the match on SmackDown to progress to the Elimination Chamber but none of the two would be successful in winning the WWE title.
However, they would interact in backstage segments after the pay-per-view to form a new tag team with Zelina Vega as its mouthpiece.
This Mexican team could also emerge as the next challengers for the SmackDown tag team championships and who knows may even win the titles at WrestleMania 35.
