Drew McIntyre has a clear advantage over Bobby Lashley before their WrestleMania match. The history of their previous encounters in WWE proves it. They faced each other two times before for the WWE Championship. Lashley could not score a single victory over the Scottish superstar.

The first time they went head-to-head in the ring came at Backlash 2020. Drew McIntyre, the then-WWE Champion, had to defend his title against Bobby Lashley.

The Almighty attacked McIntyre before the match even started. He then dominated his opponent for most of the match. However, he could not come out victorious. McIntyre took advantage of Lashley getting distracted by Lana to hit him with the Claymore for the pin.

On the June 15 episode of Monday Night Raw last year, McIntyre had to defend his title again in a tag-team match with Lashley standing on the other side of the ring. The Scottish superstar teamed up with R-Truth to take on Lashley and MVP. Once again, Lashley lost his opportunity to defeat McIntryre and win the title. The then-WWE Champion hit MVP with the Claymore before letting R-Truth get the pin.

Lashley will now look to score his first victory over McIntyre in a WWE ring when they clash at WrestleMania 37.
