#1 Otis cashes in for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Otis emerged as this year's Mr. Money in the Bank and he didn't even have to climb a ladder for that. Fans would have written off the Heavy Machinery member after the ladder failed to withstand his weight during the closing segment of SmackDown last Friday. However, WWE pulled off the perfect swerve to hand one of the biggest babyfaces in the company the contract.

While you can understand why WWE Creative decided to hand Otis the Money in the Bank briefcase, he's simply not main event material, so how does he cash in his briefcase?

Unique cash-in of Money in the Bank contract

Well, if we're to go by the words of Otis himself, he'll be looking to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase for the SmackDown tag titles as claimed by him in a recent interview.

It makes the perfect sense also as I simply cannot see Otis holding the Universal Championship at this point. With Sami Zayn also out of action, for the time being, there's only one title on the Blue brand up for grabs.

The New Day also dispatched all their other contenders and defender their SmackDown Tag Team Championships at Money in the Bank. So facing Heavy Machinery next would come as a breath of fresh air too.
