A champion is never safe when a Money in the Bank biefcase is still active, and that rang true at the Elimination Chamber event. As soon as he got to his feet in the middle of the ring, former title challenger Bobby Lashley took out his frustrations on Drew McIntyre. Lashley had lost the United States Championship to Riddle earlier in the night and was clearly unhinged.

That lines up with his recent actions of being even more unpredictable and ruthless. That change has been used to make Lashley a true threat to the WWE Champion. Since Lashley did all of the heavy lifting to help Miz win the title at Elimination Chamber, The Almighty isn't going away soon.

He might go right after The Miz or he and McIntyre could revisit a feud from earlier in McIntyre's title reign. Going forward, however, Lashley will be prominently featured atop RAW. Lashley had a dominant run as US Champion and was not pinned during his title loss. That was done to protect The Almighty to keep him looking ferocious and strong.

The Miz might be a holdover feud for the former champion prior to WrestleMania. But once The Miz is presumably dispatched and quickly drops the belt, look for McIntyre and Lashley to beat the tar out of each other. Their matches from last year were hard-hitting and would fit well on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
