It did seem for the longest time that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross would come to blows because it did seem like Bliss was manipulating Cross, and everyone was pointing this out. But from the looks of it, Bliss and Cross are a cohesive tag team unit this time. At Clash of Champions, they go up against Fire and Desire.
Let's assume that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville manage to dethrone the current Champions and secure the titles. I'm sure it will lead to Alexa Bliss blaming Nikki Cross for the loss. This would, in turn, lead to Alexa Bliss blindsiding Nikki Cross and turning the latter into a face.
I strongly do believe that it is possible for Nikki Cross to break out and branch out as a babyface, on her own. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross could then slug it out in what's a very heated feud, over the subsequent months to come.
