WWE Superstars work really hard every week to entertain us the fans. Most of them work for 300 days a year, and there is no need to mention that they have a really tight schedule under which they have to work.

However, there are still some wrestlers who manage to find some spare time and work on their hobbies. We have seen some wrestlers doing crazy things in the ring, and I think that you may not be aware of their crazy hobbies.

Some of them just like to do wrestling as their hobby, but some of them love to do different things.

Here are five hobbies of WWE Superstars you are probably unaware of.

#5 Alexa Bliss – Watching Horror Films

Alexa Bliss has now become one of the most successful female wrestlers in the WWE. Since her debut on the main roster, she has won titles from both brands and she could also add the upcoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in her arsenal.

She has admitted in a lot of interviews that she is a huge horror movie fan. So much so that she has cosplayed it in the WWE multiple times. On an episode of SmackDown Live, in Halloween 2016, Bliss came into the ring dressed as Freddy Krueger who is her favorite horror movie character.

She has already changed her ring attire a lot of times and her most notable being the “Harley Quinn” one. Fans love to see her in these costumes, and it could be one of the reasons why she is so popular in the WWE.

However, she is currently injured and not wearing this attire, but things could change once she returns to the ring.

#4 John Cena - Playing golf and video games

John Cena has recently announced he will take part in the Royal Rumble match this year. After the match, he will take a short break from the WWE as he will be busy shooting his upcoming film.

If you are a fan of his, then I think you know that collecting muscle cars is Cena’s hobby. He owns many luxury cars, but that isn’t his only hobby. When asked about his other hobbies, Cena said:

I play golf once in a while. I certainly love to train. I’m also a big fan of NASCAR and Japanimation. I know the two don’t go together, but I’m just telling you what I enjoy. My favorite anime movie is Fist of the North Star.

He also loves playing video games, especially on his Nintendo.

“I am a certainly a child of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES, as the gamer Hall of Famers attribute it. That eight-bit graphical interface has truly stood the test of time, and now you see so many vintage designs and content available in eight-bit. I grew up with the start of the original eight games licensed from Nintendo—Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., which was before Super Mario Bros., then Super Mario Bros., Ice Climber, Urban Champion, Gyromite with the robot. You name it; I had it. I grew up through all that,” Cena revealed to Sports Illustrated.

He may not have a lot of spare time to do this now, but he still does these things in his free time.

#3 Finn Balor – Collecting Legos

Finn Balor is the first ever Universal Champion in the WWE. He won the title at SummerSlam 2016 by defeating Seth Rollins but got injured during the match. The next night on Raw, he relinquished the title.

We all know this, right? But what most of you don’t know is that Balor is a huge Lego’s fan. When he was injured in 2016, he was building Lego’s in his home. It might sound funny at first, but it’s true.

The WWE had also posted a video of Balor where we could see him admitting his love for building Legos. However, the video isn’t available of WWE’s YouTube channel but instead on their own WWE Network. Even though he was injured in 2016 and cannot wrestle for some months, the doctors still cleared him for building Legos. He even posted a short clip on his Twitter account about this.

You can also see him and Bayley building Legos for 53 minutes.

#2 Jeff Hardy – Painting

Jeff Hardy is a WWE veteran who has worked for the company for many years. He wrestles with a paint applied to his face that makes him unique from any other superstars in the WWE. He applies this face paint all by himself because he loves doing so.

“The face paint is something that I just... when I don’t have time to paint on canvas at home because the WWE schedule is so brutal, as you know, it’s just an outlet. I can get to the building and have this image in my head and being that I don’t have a canvas I can just use my face as what I want to try to bring to life,” Hardy said in an interview.

He doesn’t wrestle a lot these days and but still spends a lot of time painting. He even has his own collection that he sells in his website. Currently, there are seven pieces listed on his website, and each one is unique on its own terms.

It’s a no surprise that he loves painting and this is his hobby.

#1 Shinsuke Nakamura – Surfing

Shinsuke Nakamura signed a contract with the WWE in 2016. He worked for a few months in NXT before debuting to the main roster. However, after losing to AJ Styles at WrestleMania 33, Nakamura’s career became stale. He later won the United States championship but even that didn’t help him, and he lost it to Rusev.

Outside of the WWE, Nakamura is also a great surfer. Whenever he finds free time, he goes to the beaches and enjoys surfing.

When asked his future in the WWE, Nakamura answered in a very unique way and addressed how it would affect his surfing hobby.

"That's a big decision. Florida's waves is better than Japan. Just hour drive to the beach. Once a week, able to go the surfing. In Japan, if there's a hurricane -- I lived across from the beach, just a ten-minute walk. It's hard to choose."

The WWE even posted a video of him surfing in their YouTube Channel.
