#3: Longevity is more important than talent

Everyone likes getting paid right? After a long period of hard work, getting to open that paycheck and think of all the stuff you new-found wealth will go towards. Well in WWE, things are a little weird, as it is often longevity that determines a Superstar's price, instead of actual in-ring ability.

For example, someone like The Big Show, who let's admit it, is far past his prime, is still raking in millions from the company, despite barely wrestling. Meanwhile, some of the more talented and active Superstars in NXT, such as EC3 and Ricochet, may be putting on great matches but will make nowhere as much as the Giant.

Whilst these stars will see their paychecks increase in the coming years, you would think they'd be already on a great wage given their performances.
