5 legendary WWE Superstars and their potential replacements

John Cena
John Cena is undoubtedly one of the legends of the industry!

#4 Randy Orton and Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne
The reigning WWE UK Champion

Randy Orton a third generation professional wrestler who made his debut in the WWE when he was only 22 years old. Being a third generation Superstar, Orton couldn't afford to disappoint the fans and to everyone's delight, and he didn't.

Being the son of a WWE Hall-of-Famer did not prove to be a bonus to Orton as he needed to work his way to the pinnacle. His days in 'Evolution' catapulted him into super-stardom and there has been no looking back.

16 years later, Randy Orton is a 13-time WWE Champion and is still going strong on a full-time schedule. He has made the successful transition from being the 'Legend Killer' to a legend himself.

But you can't expect him to stay in the WWE forever and he has to step down from the ring at some point in the future.

To be Orton's replacement will be a hard venture for any current WWE Superstar. But there is one Superstar who's more than geared up to take Orton's throne as soon as he steps down.

Orton played a cocky and smug heel character during his initial days with the WWE. The character worked well both as a heel and a baby-face.

There is only one Superstar who has the same attributes that Orton possessed when he was young. Pete Dunne the current reigning WWE United Kingdom Champion has a lot in common with the Viper.

Both Superstars were very young when they first debuted in the WWE. Dunne has the same cockiness and vanity that Orton had in his early days.

Provided the opportunity and the spotlight Dunne could do an excellent job as a replacement for Orton.
