Edge is all set to compete at WrestleMania 37 for the Universal title.

Edge and Christian defeated The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz at two consecutive WrestleMania events in 2000 and 2001. The first bout was a Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder match while the second one was a Triple Threat Tag Team TLC match. Both outings were contested for the Tag Team titles.

Edge then defeated Booker T in a singles match at WrestleMania 18.

At WrestleMania 21, Edge won the first-ever Money In The Bank Ladder match by defeating Chris Benoit, Kane, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin and Christian. The match marked the beginning of a major push for Edge that ended with him winning the WWE title from John Cena the following year.

Edge met Mick Foley in a hardcore match at WrestleMania 22. He managed to pick up the win following a disturbing climax involving a flaming table.

At WrestleMania 23, Edge competed in another Money In The Bank Ladder match won by Mr. Kennedy. Thus, Edge's five-match streak was finally broken.
