The
Monday Night Raw was held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California

This week's Monday Night Raw was live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California and the show delivered some huge moments going forward into the Elimination Chamber PPV. Two huge matches were advertised for the show and while the matches delivered to some extent, the main event ended abruptly and felt rushed. However, the focus on selling the Elimination Chamber PPV remained intact.

Here are the 5 major things we learned from tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw

#1 John Cena teases a blockbuster match with the Undertaker

T
Could the Franchise answer to the Reaper?

In his quest for a 17th title reign, 'the Face that runs the Place' opened the show and came down to the ring to address his determination to headline WrestleMania.

'Big Match' John pointed at the WrestleMania sign and shared some encouraging words about the importance of the event in the life of a WWE superstar.

But the most significant aspect of the segment came when John said that WrestleMania can 'bring a legend back from the dead'. The words spread like fire on social platforms and it seems legitimate that this is what WWE intended to do.

'The Franchise' is rumoured to face 'the Phenom' in a historic match at the Superdome this year and, if you needed any further confirmation regarding the bout, there you have it.

#2 Jason Jordan will miss WrestleMania

<p>
Kurt's illegitimate son will be out of action

Kurt Angle came to the ring and gave us some breaking news regarding Jason Jordan and revealed details about his unfortunate neck injury which has ruled him out of 'the Grandest Stage of them All'.

Jordan was involved in a story line with Seth Rollins and with the former being sidelined now, it seems likely that the company will push Rollins to the main event picture.

The segment saw an interruption from 'the Architect' who gave his views on his partner's unfortunate injury but vowed to look towards the future of Monday Night RAW.

It seems likely that Seth Rollins is short of a dancing partner again for WrestleMania and, the segment could be a tease that they might be secretly booking Rollins Vs Angle for WrestleMania 34.

#3 Bayley defeats Sasha Banks

The
Bayley outsmarts the Boss in a great match

Bayley Vs Sasha Banks is considered one of the most iconic rivalries in the women's division and the energy of the audience for this match was monumental to say the least.

The two traded blows and carried a solid match before Bayley delivered a Bayley to Belly to Sasha Banks off the second rope to get the pin.

Both the superstars are being heavily featured nowadays and, after the sensational response to their backstage segment, it seems likely that WWE could push the envelope with this feud for a blockbuster match at 'the Show of Shows'.

The match ended with a classic stare down between the two superstars which got compounded over with a beat down from Nia Jax.

#4 Ronda Rousey will sign her WWE Contract at the Elimination Chamber

The R
The Rowdy One is coming

Royal Rumble 2018 saw the shocking debut of the baddest female fighter on the planet, Ronda Rousey, who came down to the ring and pointed at the WrestleMania sign; displaying her interest to head to 'the Grandest Stage of them All'. She has not appeared since then leaving the fans with confusion regarding her potential match at the Superdome.

Kurt Angle delivered some major news this week and stated that 'the Rowdy one' is heading to RAW and will sign a contract at the Elimination Chamber PPV.

This contract signing could definitely bring a lot of viewers and ratings to the company and it seems like the ideal opportunity to promote such a big star. Nonetheless, Ronda Rousey has arrived and you better be prepared for what awaits us all.

#5 Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will enter the Elimination Chamber

 d
A disappointing end to Monday Night Raw

WWE announced a Fatal-5-way match during the show by inserting Rollins after the unfortunate injury of Jason Jordan. The match was solid with entertaining spots but, the fans were disappointed with the abrupt end where both Finn and Seth pinned Bray Wyatt at the same time after a vicious power bomb.

The show ended with utter confusion but was later cleared off by the General Manager who stated that both the superstars will enter the Chamber.

Despite the unfortunate ending to the match, it's an ideal decision by the company to feature both the superstars in the main event picture considering that they have been moving without direction. A potential inclusion in the Chamber match could mean greater things to come for them.
