John Cena is the biggest name in the professional wrestling industry. Even after taking a backseat from wrestling and letting younger wrestlers find their footing in WWE, Cena has managed to remain relevant in the wrestling conversation.

While he is more likely to be seen walking down Hollywood Boulevard now than in a WWE ring, Cena has made his indelible mark on wrestling. Over his decades-long run as one of the most influential wrestlers of all time, Cena has changed the landscape of wrestling.

He has had several unforgettable moments that fans will remember for many years down the line. Several of these moments came when he was delivering his finishing move, the Attitude Adjustment.

In this article, let's take a look at five of John Cena's most memorable Attitude Adjustments of all time.

#5 John Cena with an Attitude Adjustment on Wade Barrett — WWE TLC 2010

In 2010, it was supposed to be the year of the Nexus. They came in dominating the proceedings in WWE. At the time, they faced John Cena and other WWE stars using their numbers to dominate them all. Unfortunately for Nexus, their momentum came to a sudden halt when Team Cena was able to defeat them.

What could have been one of the best factions and storylines in WWE at the time was brought up short. As if that was not enough, Cena put an exclamation point on it.

Wade Barrett, the leader of Nexus, faced John Cena in a Chairs match at the 2010 TLC event. The stipulation was extremely odd, but the chemistry between the two stars was evident to anyone. It was a hard-hitting and brutal contest, with Barrett dominating early.

However, the best moment of the match came when John Cena unfolded six steel chairs, setting them up in the middle of the ring. He then hit Wade Barrett with an Attitude Adjustment through the steel chairs. It made for one of the best moments of their feud.

#4 John Cena hits Randy Orton with a Super Attitude Adjustment — WWE Hell in a Cell 2014

Randy Orton may have taken more Attitude Adjustments from John Cena than any other superstar in WWE. Throughout their careers, Cena and Orton have met in the ring multiple times, facing each other in a variety of matches.

John Cena faced Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match in 2014. While there was no title on the line, it was one of the best matches of all time between the two stars. They faced each other for more than 15 minutes, but after that, the time came where they were simply hitting each other with finishers.

They both took every finisher the other had but refused to surrender. John Cena saw that he needed to do something special. He grabbed Orton and brought him to the ropes to deliver a Super Attitude Adjustment through a table to win the match.

The match was by no means their best encounter of all time, but the Attitude Adjustment remains one of the best that Cena has delivered to Orton.

#3 John Cena hit Edge with an Attitude Adjustment off the ladder through tables — Unforgiven 2006

While John Cena had a lot of his matches with Randy Orton, his feuds against Edge saw some of the best matches from either of the superstars. The feud that took place between them in 2006 is often seen as one of the best feuds of the Ruthless Aggression Era.

The best match of their rivalry took place at Unforgiven 2006. Edge entered as WWE Champion and defended the title in a TLC match against Cena. The match was in Edge's hometown — Toronto, Canada.

Lita tried to help Edge at different points, but it didn't work. Instead, the match had what was one of John Cena's best Attitude Adjustments of all time. They faced each other on the ladder and started to batter each other. Cena got the better of the exchange and he lifted Edge upon his shoulders.

Two tables had been set up earlier next to the ladder. Cena put Edge through both tables with an Attitude Adjustment from the top of the ladder. He won the title in that match after the move.

#2 John Cena hits The Big Show and Edge with a dual Attitude Adjustment — WrestleMania 25

John Cena is freakishly strong. WWE wrestlers are supposed to be strong, but when it came to Cena, he always seemed to have that extra reserve of strength that very few can access.

There was a World Heavyweight Championship match set between Edge, Big Show, and Cena at WrestleMania 25. Edge headed into the event as the champion and he was defending it in a Triple Threat match.

The match was a good one and the feud between the three men was extremely interesting. But the best moment of the feud that every fan will remember was when John Cena stole the show.

He lifted up both Edge and Big Show on his shoulders at the same time. It looked like Cena would collapse, but instead, he hit the Attitude Adjustment on both men, after lifting a combined nearly 700 lbs on his shoulders. Cena won the match and his second World Heavyweight Championship shortly after this impressive feat.

#1 John Cena sends Batista through the stage with the Attitude Adjustment — Over The Limit 2010

While John Cena had some of the best matches of his life with Randy Orton and Edge, his feud with Batista was something else. Cena and Batista were seen as two big stars from the Ruthless Aggression Era. They grew up on opposing brands for the most part and were kept separate.

When they finally clashed, they had many memorable matches. But their match at Over the Limit 2010 stands out as one of the best of all time.

The match between the two of them was one of the most brutal they had been in. It was an "I Quit" match and they brawled out of the ring and in the crowd. Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment in front of a car on the ramp. But he was not done as Batista was not quitting.

John Cena took him to the roof of the car and positioned him for an Attitude Adjustment off the roof onto the ramp. Batista finally quit, but Cena, who was full of rage, was too angry to care. He hit the Attitude Adjustment through the ramp from the top of the car. It is probably the most vicious and brutal Attitude Adjustment he has ever delivered.
