5 incorrect booking decisions that were made on RAW

What could WWE have done differently on Raw this week?

#3 Repetitive matches

Crews went from title match to meaningless match featuring Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox
Crews went from title match to meaningless match featuring Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox

The main thing that made Raw unwatchable last year was WWE's need to book repetitive matches every single week, and with the new era being ushered in, we thought that this would change, but it clearly hasnt.

Instead of keeping the momentum of Ember Moon, Elias, and Apollo Crews going strong, WWE decided to ignore all the strides they made with these superstars and book them in the lazy feuds they were trapped in last year.

From Elias taking on Baron Corbin for the hundredth time to Apollo Crews fighting off Jinder Mahal, there was nothing new on Raw this week, and that is a disappointment.

#4 A wasted opportunity

McIntyre and Cena in the same ring should be a dream scenario instead we got a generic promo.
McIntyre and Cena in the same ring should be a dream scenario instead we got a generic promo.

Drew McIntyre is clearly in line for a huge push down the road, as his dominance over Dolph Ziggler and Kurt Angle proved that WWE is taking the big Scotsman seriously, and that is great. But McIntyre's promo segment with John Cena this week on Raw did nothing for the man.

In fact, it feels like Cena buried McIntyre's promo a little bit, as Cena compared McIntyre's reasoning to take him out to superstars of the past who used the same motivations, and yeah while it's a little stale, McIntyre needs all the credibility he can get, and Cena didn't give him that this week on Raw.

This was a wasted opportunity on WWE's part as Cena coming to WWE is supposed to be about him elevating talent, and that didn't happen here.

#5 Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar disappoints

Can this feud just end already?
Can this feud just end already?

The worst part about Raw every week is not seeing the Universal Champion show up, and this week on Raw when Brock Lesnar did show up, it was like he was not even there.

And that is not the fault of Lesnar or even Strowman but its the terrible booking evident here in this feud. There was a time a time when people couldn't wait to see Lesnar and Strowman get in the ring with each other, but we can't wait to see it end.

And this week on Raw, WWE booked the worst possible segment to hype up this Universal Title match, as Strowman delivered a terrible promo while Lesnar did nothing of importance, it is clear that WWE doesn't care about this programme anymore, as this is just a filler feud for Lesnar until Wrestlemania.
