#4. WWE Mistake: The Fiend vs Kevin Owens
The Fiend made his WWE in-ring debut back at SummerSlam in 2019 and over the past year and a half, every superstar that has crossed his path has ended up changing in some way.
Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss even Roman Reigns when he returned at SummerSlam this year. The only man who doesn't seem to have been affected by The Fiend is Kevin Owens.
Owens faced Bray Wyatt's alter-ego back in October after pointing out several issues with the star and then being attacked on the KO Show. The match was The Fiend's first on SmackDown and once again it was the masked star who came out on top.
Owens has seemingly been the exact same character throughout his entire WWE career, he's still The Prizefighter that he debuted as on the main roster in 2015 and even a brush with The Fiend hasn't changed him.
This weekend he battles Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the same way that he has challenged for Championships his entire career. Which begs the question, why didn't The Fiend change Kevin Owens?
