Smackdown Live desperately needs credible babyfaces.
Mustafa Ali is one of the best babyfaces in the entire company.
Even those who had never seen a single moment of 205 Live could not help but support him after watching his vignettes in the lead-up to his WrestleMania Cruiserweight Championship match. He was an extremely relatable, well rounded, three-dimensional babyface character; both believable, and sympathetic.
His in-ring work is excellent due to his unparalleled athleticism, and unique move-set.
He would make an excellent opponent for United States Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, for at least a pay-per-view cycle.
He has already proven that he is the heart of 205 Live, could he perhaps be the heart of SmackDown Live as well?
