Paige's main appearances lately have been on WWE Backstage and also as a brief thorn in the side of SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley. She's no longer an active competitor but the person behind the big reveal doesn't necessarily have to be an active in-ring performer.
Remember when Rose and Deville debuted alongside Paige as Absolution? It was a short-lived pairing as Paige would have to retire from the ring shortly after the faction debuted. What didn't end was the relationship between the three women. Rose and Deville remained steadfast allies (until now) and have been together on SmackDown for the last two years.
When Paige was the SmackDown GM, Fire and Desire tried to use their former friendship with the Anti-Diva to their advantage. It didn't work out for them as they had hoped. She even managed the Kabuki Warriors when they debuted against Rose and Deville.
The fact is that there is a prior relationship that could easily be played on between all three women. Paige could have revealed Deville's treachery as a way to show Rose that their friendship isn't as strong as they thought. The WWE Universe has always loved Paige and would love to see her return in any capacity. Since it cannot be in an in-ring capacity, being the hacker would give her a non-contact role on Friday nights.
