Corbin emphatically stated on SmackDownLive that he doesn’t need a match with John Cena at Summerslam. He specifically said that the 16-time world champion has nothing that he wants, meaning he can’t offer him anything.

The Lone Wolf is a man that feels he doesn’t need vindication from anyone, he doesn’t respect accomplishments or status, he just sees gold. As the former Mr. MITB, Corbin only has eyes for the WWE Championship, not John Cena. With that logic and taking into account the merciless man he is, it’d only make sense for the 32-year old to attack Cena during his entrance and send him packing from SmackDownLive.

The attack would be so brutal that it’d leave a lasting effect on the rest of the show as the WWE Universe remembers how a legend was destroyed by an NXT graduate.
