A dream feud most of you didn't know you needed. Almas was called up to the main roster during the Superstar Shakeup 2018. Ever since his arrival, he has been rarely used on Smackdown Live and hasn't been involved in a proper story-line. He has had amazing matches with the likes of AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan etc. but that is it.

Earlier this year, there were rumors circulating around that Vince McMahon was quite high on the Mexican star. However, El Idolo disappeared from WWE TV after that, only to pop up every now and then without any clear direction.

Sometimes, things take time and it can be that Almas is in line for a huge push. Still, it should be kept in mind that keeping him off TV for months can adversely affect his interaction with the WWE Universe, especially the casuals. Therefore, it seems logical to have Cena feud with Almas for a few weeks upon returning. Although Almas will need the win more than Cena, it wouldn't really matter as long as the two have an interesting feud and quality matches. This can give Almas the rub he really needs at the moment.
