5 Superstars John Cena should Put Over in his Latest Run with WWE

EC3 is very much similar to John Cena when the latter was a heel in 2002-2003.

It sounds odd, considering that EC3's main roster debut date hasn't even been announced yet. However, it's still a decent option. If you followed EC3's career in Impact Wrestling, you should know that he has got decent in-ring skills and is full of charisma. Many people wonder why he wasn't a big part of any prominent story-line in NXT. The reason for it is that he was supposed to get called up to the main roster much sooner than expected (around Summerslam). He was always considered a main roster talent, rather than an NXT Superstar (like Elias). However, a concussion suffered during a match against Velveteen Dream put EC3 in the sidelines, causing his main roster call up to get postponed.

A week ago, EC3's call up was officially announced. If rumors are to believed and taking into consideration that WWE is really high on him, they should build him as a credible star sooner than later. The best way to kick off this feud would be having EC3 eliminate John Cena from the Royal Rumble match. His constant bragging about his big achievement following the event should then bring out Cena in order to silence him. EC3 and the heel version of John Cena back in 2003 are similar in a lot of ways and it will be interesting to see a feud between them down the line.
