This past week on SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens joined The New Day, much to Vince McMahon's disgust. The freshly returned babyface is now an honorary member of The New Day. Throughout the episode, Kofi and Woods tried to make Owens comfortable in his new role, by forcing him to eat pancakes and involving him in many more such shticks.
This doesn't look like it's going to end well for the New Day though. Owens is a better heel than a babyface, and he has proven this fact over the course of the past several years. The WWE Universe should expect Owens to turn heel on The New Day sometime in the near future, with KO challenging Kingston for his WWE Title.
Owens was a strong contender to go to Raw, but remained on SmackDown Live. Could this be an indication that he is in for a future title shot against Kofi? Only time will tell.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
