Daniel Bryan and Shinsuke Nakamura's mini battle during last month's Gaunlet match on SmackDown left fans salivating about the prospect of watching the two wrestle in a full-fledged clash. Nakamura won that match, but his push soon fizzled out and he's currently doing nothing of note.

As for Bryan, he's still a genuine star and should ideally be wrestling in the main event scene. With SmackDown's top match at The Show of Shows almost confirmed, a battle of veterans between Daniel Bryan and Nakamura could be a decent idea.

The King of Strong Style, despite being respected by fans, never found the success everyone expected him to achieve on the main roster. On the contrary, Bryan has achieved virtually everything.

Their clash doesn't even need any story as fans are desperate to see them face off. It will not come as a surprise if they end up having the most memorable bout at the event.
