On February 17, 2019, the Elimination Chamber PPV event will take place in Housten, Texas as we will see 6 WWE Superstars battle it out inside the Elimination Chamber. It will be Daniel Bryan defending the WWE Championship against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Mustafa Ali and Jeff Hardy.

This has the potential to be a show-stealing match due to the amount of talent that is involved. Each man brings something different to the table, with Ali and Hardy being the high flyers, Joe, Styles and Bryan being the technicians as well as Orton being the all-rounder.

So here are five predictions for the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship.

#5 Samoa Joe will make somebody tap out

Coquina Clutch.

We are currently in the midst of the build-up for the Elimination Chamber match, as the event takes place on the 17th. We have seen The Destroyer booked very strongly this week.

On the 5th February 2019 episode of SmackDown, Joe came out to the ring following Randy Orton and Mustafa Ali's match before he went on to brutally choking Orton out before attacking Ali as well.

Joe had the opportunity to attack Bryan too, but he was unable to due to Bryan's friend in Rowan coming out.

And during the main event, we saw Samoa Joe interfere to attack Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy as he then went onto choke Bryan out with the Coquina Clutch.

This suggests that WWE is booking Joe very strongly, as it also increases how deadly the Coquina Clutch is.

Joe will most likely continue that wrath at the Elimination Chamber as he will make one or more superstars tap out. This is to make him look as strong as possible before we head into Fastlane and WrestleMania.

There is a video below to show the impact of what a submission hold like the Coquina Clutch can have on an opponent.

#4 A Swanton Bomb by Jeff Hardy from top of the pod

Out of all the competitors that are scheduled to compete for this match, there is no doubt that Hardy is the biggest risk-taker.

Ali could also take that role during the match, but Hardy is a seasoned veteran in an Elimination Chamber match as he has performed his famous finishing move in style before.

Despite the fact that Hardy is getting older, he is still able to perform big spots. On the 21st August 2018 edition of SmackDown, Hardy went onto hit a Swanton Bomb on Randy Orton from a production case as Orton was on a table.

This created a huge pop that night, and the same would happen if Hardy did it again from the Chamber.

We have seen Hardy nail a beautiful Swanton Bomb onto The Big Show before from the Chamber pod at the No Way Out PPV in 2009.

There wouldn't be a more perfect opportunity than for Hardy to amaze the WWE Universe and do it again.

#3 Mustafa Ali will be last the longest

Mustafa Ali.

The youngest superstar in the match is none other than Mustafa Ali as he is 32 years old, and he has never competed inside the devastating Elimination Chamber structure.

Ali is also the underdog heading into the match as he is yet to win a title in the WWE unlike everybody else. But despite being the odd one out in terms of experience, Ali is clearly being built up to the next big thing in the WWE as he has support from Vince McMahon.

He is a rising talent, and WWE clearly sees that as he has a pinfall victory over Daniel Bryan, which occurred during a Tag Team Match on December 18th 2018 episode of SmackDown when Bryan teamed up with Andrade to take on Ali and AJ Styles.

He proved to be the work-horse at Royal Rumble 2019 as he lasted 30 minutes in the match before being eliminated by Nia Jax. This made Ali the second long-lasting superstar in that Royal Rumble match behind Seth Rollins, who was the winner.

#2 AJ Styles will eliminate Randy Orton

Orton and Styles.

AJ Styles and Randy Orton are two of the most decorated superstars in the WWE, as they are both former world champions. However, we are yet to see these two go at it in a one on one match on a major PPV event.

Rumors have been circulating around the wrestling world that The Phenomenal One and The Viper are set to clash at WrestleMania 35 in a marquee match. This would be a fantastic opportunity for two of SmackDown's finest to face each other in a high-profile platform.

With this possibility, we may see Styles eliminate Orton during the match to plant the seeds for this bout. This could give Orton a reason to target Styles during the build-up to a potential WrestleMania match, which would be a great way to go due to Orton being a heel.

We may even see a post-match beatdown with Orton attacking Styles after he eliminates him, which could lead to Styles' elimination itself.

#1 Daniel Bryan retains the WWE Championship

And finally, the final prediction is that The New Daniel Bryan will retain the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber 2019 event.

Over the last few months, we have seen a huge change in Bryan's character due to his heel turn, which led to a WWE Championship victory. Ever since then, Bryan has killed off the Yes! Movement and he also recruited Rowan to be by his side in aid to create a better environment in the world.

We even see Bryan introduce a new WWE title, as it was made out of hemp which is eco-friendly. Bryan needs to continue his reign as the WWE Champion because he is one of the most entertaining acts on the brand today.

He has made a unique character very enjoyable to watch, and his reign shouldn't stop anytime soon as he should be "The Planet's Champion" for a long time.
