While Bobby Lashley's lack of a WWE Champion reign on his résumé is a known fact, it's still pretty baffling. He possesses all the tools to be a legit main event star. During his first run with the company, he was often positioned on the top of the card, but he could never capture the title that mattered the most.
While he did have two reigns with the ECW Championship, the move to the revamped ECW brand proved to be detrimental to his growth in WWE. A few years later, Lashley left the company and made a name for himself in MMA and IMPACT Wrestling, where he became a four-time world champion.
When he returned to the company in 2018, fans expected that he quickly enter into the main event scene. Instead, due to lackluster booking, Lashley could never find the momentum he needed.
As a 44-year old, time on Bobby Lashley's career is running out. For this reason, WWE should let Bobby Lashley run with the title he very much deserves. Considering how well he has performed over the last year, the decision should be an easy one.
