Back in the old days, an angle like this would have a very major storyline follow up. But at the Natalya-Charlotte Flair contract signing, presided by Shane and Stephanie McMahon not too long ago, it was ruled that Charlotte would lose her Women’s championship, if Ric was to interfere in the match.
That naturally got Naych all riled up, and he got in the prodigal son’s face making Shane call for security to escort Flair from the ring. Stephanie McMahon would hit Ric with a thunderous slap. We were sure that it would lead to a money making feud between Charlotte and Stephanie in the long run.
But shockingly the angle was dropped, and nothing transpired thereafter.
