#3. WrestleMania doesn't need a legend to draw any more

The Undertaker has seemingly taken a step back from appearing at WrestleMania. That means that his career at the grandest stage of them all will have marked its end by squashing John Cena in 165 seconds. Cena should have been his last opponent, but the fashion in which they did it came off lazy.

His absence at WrestleMania 35 was a big indicator that WWE was transitioning out of relying on part-timers the way they did in the 2010s. We know there's been a lot of speculation about Brock Lesnar and his departure from WWE, with many believing that WrestleMania 35 and then SummerSlam 2019 would mark the end of his run with the company.

Unfortunately for him, his negotiations with the UFC didn't do well and he used them as leverage for a better WWE contract. It worked and he's now the most prominent part-timer in the company. But WrestleMania doesn't need the presence of these legends anymore as the brand name has become a draw in itself.
