As I said, believe the hype. When Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) entered that ring, the crowd at the MGM arena popped big. It was rumored for a while but people were unsure whether it was a red herring. But the man who was nicknamed The Lunatic Fringe is finally in AEW. Moreover, after delivering a modified Dirty Deeds to Chris Jericho and the referee, his reaction on the ropes was almost a sign of relief.

He was breathing in the fact he was back being who he once was and it was clearly seen on his face. Moreover, he just cut a promo which was released by AEW Wrestling's Twitter account. He says,

One day, you will all come to my funeral, just to make sure that I stay dead, but today is not that day. I'm alive! My heart is still beating and I'm breathing fresh air for the first time in a long time. My name is Jon Moxley and I'm on a mission to reclaim my soul.

Now, WWE made it a point to give Dean Ambrose a proper farewell which is rarely done. It can be speculated that they thought he just needed time off and recharge his batteries. But it looks like he was just looking to break free and declare his independence.

The one man who is probably more irked than anyone else is Vince McMahon.
