Many fans might not be aware of the fact that R-Truth was a WWE mainstay in the early 2000s. He was signed to WWE in 1999 and was dubbed as K-Kwik. After a forgettable run that saw him win the Hardcore title on two occasions, K-Kwik was released in 2002.

Almost immediately, Truth signed a contract with TNA, now called Impact Wrestling. Mere weeks after his debut, Truth lashed out in an angry promo and announced that he was being held back because of his race. On August 7, 2002, Truth defeated UFC legend Ken Shamrock to win the NWA World Heavyweight title.
With this win, he became the first and only African-American wrestler to date to bag the NWA World Heavyweight Champion
For the next five years, Truth wrestled for TNA and his resume included two NWA World title wins. He signed with WWE again in 2008 and has been with the company ever since. Truth is currently one of the most popular Superstars in the company and his exploits with the 24/7 title have a lot to do with it.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
