#4 Elevate few of the midcarders to the upper midcard level
The real problem WWE is facing is that there are very few wrestlers they could bank upon to fill in the upper midcard level. Even the potential talents they have are stuck in the midcard level and are not elevated to the next level by WWE.
Talents like Cesaro, Owens and Zayn can stand their own in an upper midcard feud, but the problem is there aren’t enough opponents for them to feud with in that level (honestly, Jericho can only put over one talent at a time.)
With the brand split, WWE can split up talents and get them over separately. Right now, if Cesaro grabs a title, naturally Owens and Zayn has to challenge him. This leads to a situation where at least one of the talent gets stepped over. WWE can avoid this by splitting them up and grooming them separately.
