But despite his prowess, fans were shocked when Jericho appeared in a promo video for New Japan, where he challenged Kenny Omega to a match.
In the past, Y2J had said he would never work for a wrestling company asides from WWE, and turned down various attempts by TNA to sign him.
Explaining his actions, Jericho has said he went back on his word as he thought the Omega match would be a positive for the wrestling industry.
Their match was a classic, and Jericho is now a part of AEW.
