We're not talking about the main event talent of today or even the man who feuded with The Game a decade ago.

Instead, we're looking at when Jeff Hardy faced the Game in 2001 on SmackDown.

Meeting for Triple H's Intercontinental Championship, no-one expected young Jeff, who had yet to branch out on his own, would win.

But thanks to some interference by big brother Matt, Hardy did just that, capturing his first Intercontinental Championship in the process.

Described as the upset of the decade by Michael Cole on commentary, Jeff would hold the title on multiple occasions in his career.

Entering the main event in 2008, Jeff would eventually capture the WWE Championship from Edge at Armageddon 2008, in a match that also featured none other than The Game.
